As the threat of Storm Dorian escalates, the Association has begun the process of mobilizing and securing Caribe’ property.
Our Maintenance Staff, Front Desk Team and Property Manager are working diligently and tirelessly to insure that all contingencies have been addressed and that our building is at the highest level of preparedness.
All members and guests in residence have received a 6 page packet which includes a timeline for “lockdown, ” procedures in the event of a mandatory evacuation order, emergency shelter information, county and municipal emergency resources, hurricane kit checklist and guidelines for disaster preparations.
If you are out of residence and have a vehicle in the South Parking Lot- the large lot adjacent to the Social Room- you are required to make arrangements to have your car moved to the North or Southwest Lots by noon on Saturday. Any vehicle not in compliance will be towed at the owner’s expense.
If the storm materializes and our area is impacted,
please do not call the Office for information.
Our staff and Manager will be busy assessing conditions and beginning the process of clean-up. Our Manager will contact members whose units have incurred property loss or water damage.
As during Hurricane Irma, your best source of updates will be the Caribe’ website. We will make every effort to provide regular reports with photos, news and announcements. Our site also includes a link to the 2 cameras located at Pelican Circle and Anglin Square, both of which remained operational during the last storm.
Our thoughts and prayers are with those in the path of this storm.
